Hi, I’m Julie! Your Fellow Mom & Strength Advocate.
I’m Julie Leonard, the heart behind Strong Mama 30 and Strong Body Strong Mama. My journey to creating this program started after having three little ones in just four years. I understand firsthand the feeling of your body not being your own, the lack of energy, and the struggle to find time for yourself. For me, the answer wasn’t more grueling workouts, but smarter ones.
Realizing that consistent, 30-minute strength sessions were the key to feeling strong again, I channeled my personal experience and my professional background (a Master’s in Exercise Science, Pre/Postnatal Corrective Exercise Specialist, and ongoing education in core & pelvic health) into creating a program that truly serves moms.

If you’re tired of feeling like you don’t have time for long workouts, or you want to enjoy the summer months while still making progress, this program is perfect. It’s suitable for moms at least 3+ months postpartum through all stages of motherhood, including post-menopause. Building strength and muscle becomes even more crucial for moms over 35 for long-term health and vitality!
What equipment do I need for the workouts?
The beauty of Strong Mama 30 is that it requires minimal equipment, making it accessible for home workouts. The recommended items are:
- A set of light, medium, and heavy dumbbells: This allows for progressive overload, which is crucial for building strength. If you don’t have three sets, explore options like borrowing or online retailers.
- A flat bench (or sturdy alternative like an ottoman): Provides support for certain exercises.
- Resistance bands with handles: Versatile for a range of movements.
- A yoga block: Useful for modifications and support.
- Exercise wedges (or a thick, stable book): Used for specific exercises to enhance effectiveness.
While these are recommended to maximize your results, the program is designed to be adaptable with what you have available. However, investing in a few sets of dumbbells will significantly enhance your ability to progress.

You have the flexibility to select any Monday within 45 days of your purchase as your official start date. This gives you 12 weeks to complete the core program, plus an extra 2 weeks at the end for added flexibility if needed.
How will I access my workouts?
You’ll access all your Strong Mama 30 workouts through the user-friendly True Coach mobile app, available on both your phone and computer. Each exercise within the app includes easy-to-follow video demonstrations and valuable coaching tips to guide you. Additionally, you’ll receive a comprehensive Welcome Packet (PDF) with all the program details and helpful educational resources.
The app shows specific workout days. Do I have to stick to that schedule?
Not at all! The days assigned to your workouts in the True Coach App (like Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday) are simply suggestions. You can absolutely complete your Strong Mama 30 workouts on whatever days are most convenient for you. Life with kids is unpredictable, and we understand that!
I'm a beginner and/or I haven't been consistent with weight training. Can I still do this program?
Absolutely! Strong Mama 30 is designed to be accessible for beginners and those getting back into a consistent routine. You’ll find modifications provided throughout the program to adjust exercises based on your experience level.
Are the workouts safe for pelvic floor conditions or Diastasis Recti?

How long do the workouts take from start to finish? I'm a busy mom!
